Story

This one isn't about me. Sometimes, I put on other people's pain shoes A friend was in a relationship that needed to either be fixed or blown up. It was painful to watch him go through it for what seemed like forever, while the woman he was with treated him horribly, although it didn't start out that way, not by a long shot. He saved her from a bad relationship, but that was forgotten quickly. He was a guy who could fix anything, but not this.

Well then.

Woo hoo! "Cordless" made the list of 2018's Top Selling Texas LP's in Texas Record Stores. A big thank you is in order to Antone's Record Shop for their above and beyond support of independent artists. It's also the coolest place to spend a rainy day or Sunday afternoon. And if you don't already have a copy of "Cordless", what are you waiting for?

Big thanks to the Texas Music Office (especially Steve Ray) for placing value on the music created here with their support.

The Tree Remembers...With the Kavanaugh hearings, I saw so many inspirational posts, most of them heartbreaking and empowering at the same time. Someone posted the African proverb “The axe forgets, the tree remembers”,  a Zimbabwean proverb from the Shona tribe, meaning that a person who harms another or borrows from someone will often forget, but the person who is harmed or borrowed from will always remember. I was out and about and this song formed in my head, so I hurried home, wrote and recorded it here:
